Good point. It seems that on the night of Scotty's death, Noah and Alison more or less broke up. (yet again)
The arrest took place months after Scotty's death. Did they ever reconcile after that? Am I (are we) missing something?
Yes there is a good chunk of time where we dont know what happened. I often wonder about that evening where Alison put Joanie to bed, then Noah and Alison talked about how busy the next day was for them and then he got arrested. At that point he knew Joanie was not his child. AND at some point they got married. Hopefully all that is covered this season.
shareAfter they were about to break up at Cole's wedding in 2.12, Noah and Alison got back together probably to scatter suspicion that anything off happened that night, and also probably to help deal with the trauma. They do seem close in the modern day of 1.01-2.12. However, it seems that they drifted apart quite a lot after Noah confessed at the trial and are now not even speaking after Noah's three years in jail. That is a long time for them to split up.
