Anyone noticed this? Helen threw shade at a parent because he voted for Trump. But the election was just 3 weeks ago. So the show is saying this is occurring close to present. However, we know Episode 2 is rewinding back to the past since in Episode 1, Noah is already released from prison. So the Trump shade should have come at Episode 1 since that was really present day.
Hmmm...that's definitely odd, unless Noah's release is actually 9 months in the future? That kind of stuff happened all the time in seasons one and two, but it was usually easier to keep track of. Or maybe she meant di*khead banker voted for Trump in the primary? I was throwing shade during the primaries, too, big time.
No one I knew could believe he actually won any of the primaries let alone the nomination. I've never heard as much interest or dismay expressed about the primaries as there was this election, so yeah, it's possible that she was talking about the primaries (but I know, it's a stretch). I think it's more likely that Helen's story was shown in the present and Noah is released 9 months from now. So when we saw him in the last episode, that was in the future.
