Where Season #4 Goes

I think there are going to be storylines for the 4th season.

One of which could be Etienne's death.. he was more lucid than ever prior to Juliette returning home and suddenly he dies, it was easily explained, but they said they will do an autopsy, so it could end up turning into some kind of mess, especially if Juliette runs off to the US to marry Noah.. and Sabine getting upset with her father for not realizing she was there and when she was referring to her as if she was not in the room. Could be the main storyline.

I think it is time for Luisa to have an affair and this might be a way to get Max back in the storyline. Luisa is upset and can't compete with Alison's backstory with Cole and runs into Max at some fundraising event that Max is running. Meanwhile Cole and Alison have on/off storyline.

The Helen storyline could easily be that the doctor turns out to be gay, there is not much know about the doctor's past and why would that guy be 40 something and still single, turns out he is gay and that is the mystery about him.

They have more characters now and maybe they can introduce a new love interest for Alison, perhaps a younger guy that becomes a freeloader.

Noah has a great season with his kids and Juliette, until they accuse him of killing Etienne..

There is a 4th season in there.

I would say season 4 starts off with Noah living a great life and being the most happy he's been in years, and then something where Allison shows up and things begin to fall apart again.

Or season 4 opens up mid way into Noahs life falling apart again.

The more I think about it... the characters have really drifted apart geographically and it needs to be fixed.

Noah is given a book deal to write the sequel to Descent and can't write it in New Jersey and convinces Juliette to come to Montauk with him, she settles on taking a job as a French teacher in the Montauk schools.

Meanwhile the big storyline will be who killed Vic, and this time around Vic comes to Montauk with the family and ends up meeting Luisa and having an affair with Luisa, and Helen and Cole are back to where they were again in victim mode, not knowing what is going on.

Alison gets jealous of Noah's happiness with Juliette, and starts to flirt and entice Noah again but Noah is a changed man.

We don't know who is killed right away, we see Luisa, Noah, Helen and Cole all being interviewed, but get sudden twists with Oscar ending up in the loop as well

I think having the main character's in one place will tie the show back together again

He's 40 and single so he must be gay? Or some excuse of why? You must be married with such a view.

It just lends itself to a different kind of affair, if let's say Helen is now married to someone that has a gay affair... his background has never been explored and that can be part of the show.. just saying that being 40 something and single leaves that plothole open

Noah and Quinn meet in Brooklyn where they share a basement flat in a Brownstone. Vic and Max meet up weekly for coffee and to talk about the insane women in their lives. Bruce and Saul meet in a different coffee shop to talk about their slutty real (and figurative) daughters who are pathological liars, control freaks, both the smartest and stupidest women in the world, and how they seem to fall for the total crazy guys. But then it flashes back to 2008 where Travelers from the future inhabit the consciousness's of both show producers in an attempt to avert the greatest travesty in Modern TV show trends, the destruction of a promising premise by notes from suits in the main office.

I'm wondering if the time jump in this finale showing Noah seemingly "sane" & in Paris will lay the groundwork for season 4 to basically do flashback episodes of how Noah became "sane" again.

Did he end up in the same facility as Alison after his complete breakdown & confrontation of Gunther? Isn't this where Alison works now (or at least she says she was offered a job).

Season 4 could show us Noah in the mental facility where Alison now works & their interactions together which led to his regaining his life back & ending up in Paris in finale of Season 3.

If the premise of Season 4 are all flashbacks of how Noah became sane, I would give up on the show!

I had enough of Noah's mental state.
