Rate the seasons

S1: 10/10
S2: 9/10
S3: 6/10 (so far) it's just way to far off from where it began. Too much teasing the audience and choppy between episodes. They feature a viewpoint for half of each episode which doesn't get far with the storyline. It would be better to have four segments each episode with each of the leads (Cole, Helen, Noah, Allison). It would give it more flow and continuity.

Season 1: 9/10
Season 2: 7/10
Season 3: 4/10

Season 1: 10/10

Season 3 Ep.5 only: 9/10; not interested in the rest

I'll have to wait until this season is over to rate it.

I'm not going to assign numbers, and clearly I'm in the minority since most folks here seem to hate season 3, but for me season 1 was okay, season 2 dropped the ball, and season 3 is building on the characters we've gotten to know in seasons 1 and 2, with the introduction of a few more so far in season 3 (I'm only up to episode 5 in season 3.)

So I'd have to say I like season 3 the best up to this point. The biggest issue I have with this show in general is that it settles for melodrama (soap opera) rather than striving for REAL drama. It's okay for what it is, but it could have been a lot better.

I could be wrong but it seems to follow the same low level of melodrama/sexual exploitation that another Showtime original followed -- Californication. That was another show in which the lead seemed to have almost unlimited sexual attractiveness despite not being all that attractive to begin with. But at least in that show DD was way better looking than DW.

I loved season 1
I was obsessed with season 2
I was a disappointed and frustrated, yet still curious and intrigued, by season 3

I will watch season 4 to see where it goes. I'm still invested in the characters, even if the plot has kind of lost me.
