The actor that should play 47

We've al hoped that David Bateson (the voice in the games) would eventually play 47 in the movies. I do however understand the moviemakers in that Bateson might not be a perfect fit in live action. So who else could play him?

Personally, I would love to see Ulrich Thomsen in the role. He played a different role in the first Hitman movie, but would make a perfect fit to play 47 himself. He plays Kai Proctor in the tv show Banshee.

Here are a few highlights making him fit for the job:

Jason statham was meant to play this role but it never materialised. His role as the transporter and his solid appearance and acting would of made him perfect.

Statham is too short to play 47, he would have to wear timberlands next to hannah ware.

I liked everything. Even the actor who played 47. I was worried about the choice but he did a great job. I don't know why everyone did not like it. Or why the movie received a low Meta score. The Critics panned the film. Why?? Look. If you want to play the game then play the game. The movie is different because it's a movie.
I hope they make another one. But with the way everyone carried on about how they hated this film. I doubt it. Well Thanks for ruining it for all of us.!!!

This actor really does a great job in this film. Rupert Friend plays a CIA Operative in the series Homeland. The role he plays is second to Claire Danes, but in many episodes he steals the show. In the second season, he all but takes over as star of that season. He is very good at playing a ruthless killer. If you haven't watched that series, consider watching Homeland, those that stream or have on demand.

uh, no he doesn't. It's not until the 4th season where he starts to be taking over as number two (behind Danes). Damian Lewis is still very much the center and star of the show in the 2nd season - Friend doesn't even come close. It's not until after Brody departs - which isn't until the end of the 3rd season - that Friend's character becomes more prominent in the series, because the story shifts and a new chapter starts with the 4th season. Up until season 4, Quinn is pretty much irrelevant.

Never mind the actual details, he is riveting in Homeland and does a great job playing that role! My experience says that he will get many more roles and do very well at the box office!

That's so true---he starts kicking more ass and showing what he's made of in season 3 of Homeland. I thought Friend was good as Agent 47 in this film, and I thought the film was pretty good too---not sure why it wasn't a hit, other than people complaining that it wasn't exactly like the video games that inspired it. I could care less about that because I don't play video games---I just saw an entertaining film,that's all.
