Reece Shearsmith in antagonistic roles in Series 2 (SPOILERS)

So far this series, I've noticed Reece Shearsmith is pretty much always the villain. I know this revelation makes spoiler tags pointless anyway, but better safe than sorry.

La Couchette: Murderer
The 12 Days Of Christine: Man who caused the fatal car accident (indirectly, but nevertheless, he is presented earlier in the episode as a creepy voyeur in Christine's flat)
The Trial of Elizabeth Gadge: Sadistic religious fanatic
Cold Comfort: Mentally unstable prank caller who eventually has Andy killed

Maybe this is building up to something? Hopefully the finale will be as terrifying as The Harrowing. Maybe they're bluffing and in the finale Reece will play a good guy? I wouldn't put anything past them.

Interesting observation about the characters played by Reece thus far in Series 2. Reece has always been effective at portraying characters who turn out to be sinister or disturbed individuals within these particular stories. Of course it would be just as fun to see Steve take the reins every now and then too, as he's also more than capable of portraying characters with a very dark side and undercurrent to them as well.
