I'm not involved with this segment of the industry... I know nothing... have no inside insights....

So, my two guess are:

Birds. Trailer shoves this at us quietly.
She owns a bird friend is smart enough to talk.
Birds carried off the car. Probably put it in a high tree.
There's a bird/human thing on the poster.
Birds are flying about in trailer.
The applause sounds like many birds pecking, flapping about.
The creatures are psyeudo humans built by smart birds.

OR
Maybe they are tree-people, living under ground.

Aliens is too done and lazy now.
