Anyone else caught off guard by how fast the series goes from somewhat realistic to totally something different? I mean I am not saying I hated it but still. Beings of light? Transcendance??
Just seemed to come all at once.
The transcendence and the Judge (aka God) don't make any sense in their motivations whatsoever but it makes sense for the show to take this king of gamble I guess. The mind drives that store consciousness were a very interesting idea, along with some other ones. As usual, these shows struggle to find satisfactory endings but it's a fine one I suppose.

I agree, after the pointless trail of destruction, betrayal, murder , war crime , torture our heroes have wrought they damn well needed to be judged!
