I'm so excited to see the Blake sibling relationship explored more and that they'll finally respect each other as adults instead of having this weird dependent paternal thing going on. I really miss their dynamic when working together (especially at the beginning of S2) so I hope they figure their stuff out and make up soon :P

It makes me worried for Bellamy's character that he needs to go to an extreme to make up for what he's done. I don't think I was ever really worried for Bellamy in S2 just because he's a lead character and that story couldn't really move forward without him, but after some of the backstage drama the cast is dealing with I'm more concerned that the actor might want to leave.

reply

Can you tell more about that backstage drama?

reply

I meant drama from fans. If you look on the Writer's Room Instagram, often there are really racist comments about him saying he looks like a monkey or how he's ugly. A lot of the Clexa fans are also just really rude to him because of this stupid shipping drama. I remember a while ago he was explaining that Bellamy handcuffed Clarke because he didn't trust Lexa and wanted to keep an eye on her, and a bunch of people called him a misogynist. It's all just really stupid stuff that the cast shouldn't have to deal with.

reply

Exactly.

...wanted to keep an eye on her

And conveniently forgetting that Lexa kidnapped Clarke and kept her locked up for a week, to protect her and keep an eye on her because she didn't believe that she was safe out there bc of the Wanheda.

And who gave her the title: Wanheda.

Bellamy handcuffed Clarke because he didn't believe she was safe out there after they had started a war and he wanted to protect her and keep an eye on her.

He was trying to explain Bellamy's mindset and they called him [Bob] a misogynist.  

I think some people in the fandom have a hard time differentiating the show from reality, or like you said, even remembering the show properly because they're biased against certain characters.

Like they hate Bellamy because of the stupid shipping or because he killed those grounders, but that doesn't reflect on Bob at all. It's so annoying, and worse it's hurtful to the actors. I love the show and so I follow it on social media and stuff, but I hate how some fans turn absolutely anything into drama. It makes no sense :(

reply

Yeah, all that hate towards Bob is really terrible, as is the hate towards Eliza. She routinely gets called stupid, fat, ugly, drunk, misguided, a terrible actress that doesn't understand her character, emotionally unstable and even racist whenever she says she doesn't see Bellarke as a romantic couple or confirms that Clexa loved each other. Hell, she even posted about the hate she was getting after a particular comment in Comic Con. None of the actors deserve this harassment.

reply

People really say bad things about Eliza Taylor? Really? That's stupidity! She's gorgeous and does a great job in this show. Hmmmmm.... so many people in this world just suck.

reply

Yeah, the actors are just doing their job and it's such a pity that some people are acting like idiots.

reply

Bob shouldn't be blamed for something he didn't even do (there is NO Bellark so far in the show so wtf are people complaining about) ! And same for Eliza, she has every right to ship Clexa more as 1st her character is a part of it and second maybe playing this role with Lexa added to her acting skills or had particular memories or lessons learned from so she cherishes it and maybe she is instructed not to encourage Bellark by the producers thats why she doesn't and whatever the reason may be, no one should blame actors for the stories they act cuz thats the writers job--he writes-- and the actor just plays it out.

a monkey..?what kind though..Gibbon?I mean it would have to be a really goodlooking monkey to look like him.:) But seriously,it sounds like some hardcore Lexa fans trolling..they seems to be everywhere threathening and taking things too far.

Their relationship is so damaged now and it will be difficult to repair the trust between them but I guess it's possible? But we also know that Octavia is going down an even darker path next season, so the question is: will she come back from it? Because if she doesn't, their relationship will be lost.
