i am only at season2 episode2, i hope she gets better because selfishness of that woman only caring about her daughter not about the men who have just been crucified... she wants just send a search party in a hostile territory they do not know and controll, without even considering the safety of their camp etc...

she is supposed to be a leader, u have to be able to view the common good despite your own desires...

Yes, a leader should put the common good above all else first. However, Abi's not a natural born leader like Jaha and Kane. For Abi, her daughter comes first. That's why she gives up her position as leader in a later episode.
