It's just a rumour. If they were going to cancel the show because of Lexa's death I don't think it makes sense to do it now, like 8 months after the incident when all the hype has died down. It also doesn't make sense from a business perspective to cancel it before they figure out how season 4 does in terms of ratings.

Nothing has been official. As for now it's only rumors, some of it created by antis like that fake photoshopped Variety article. It's too early to tell if it's getting cancel, usually the announcement comes during spring.

shareThey are filming episode 4x08 or 4x09 right now. There isn't any official premiere date announced, but it should be back on TV in early 2017, most likely late January/early February.

No , not cancelled in fact a season 5 is being whispered. There's a goof following and where the story lines goes will allow for at least one more season. plus the net work likes it. Do you know how many times people said Supernatural was cancelled? From season 4on ...wait season are we on now ?
