I was hoping they would be together in the first season because they were both interested into each other until Lincoln showed up and fell for Octavia then Jasper fell in love with Maya but now that there both gone there might be chance they will hook up plus since they both lost the ones they loved they have something in common anyone else agree?
shareI thought they writers were going that direction in S1 because of Jasper's crush but then they just sort of dropped it. I agree that they'd make a good couple. They both lost their partners, and both helped each other through those losses at different times. I think they understand each other's motivations while still balancing each other out.
But I do think Octavia should be single for now while she becomes more independent without Lincoln and Bellamy. Maybe when (if) Octavia finds her way back to her family and Jasper reconciles his pain they'll get together.
Opposites attract but Octavia is too badass for Jasper, even before she learned to fight.
shareYeah I agree. S1 Octavia was a kinda naive, sweet girl, a bit rebel, but S3 Octavia has lost all her naivety to become an independent badass whom not even her older brother can tame.
I have the feeling Octavia would see Jasper like a younger brother who needs protection and not like a romantic partner. Jasper should man up a bit..
