What we know about Season 4 and 5

What I'm about to share take as a (?) because I read it online, but some information proved to be true for season 1 and 2 so I'm assuming there's some truth here.

So first of all that season 4 will have only 13 episodes, this was later confirmed by the writers.

Bellamy is going to die in season 4, this wasn't confirmed by anyone but the predictions for Lincoln, Lexa, and that chick umm Roan's sister has proven to be true.

Lexa is coming back in season 5, they will research the technology that can bring back people from the dead, and Clarke will steal it to relive Lexa.

Alie will come back in season 4b, because they're gonna try to see behind the doors of the Alie 1.0.

They will go to the sky again, to avoid the nuclear disaster that was teased in the little promo.

These are some facts about what's next, I really hope Alie is the thing od the past, altho I have nothing against Lexa being back.

reply

There's no guarantee there's even going to be a season 5. Sorry, but I find most of this very hard to believe.

reply

I do too, but Jrot said that he has a very good idea on the show finale, and that s04 isn't meant to be last.

reply

I don't really know who the source is you're talking about but the "predictions" you mention aren't really noteworthy imo. Lexa's death was extensively foreshadowed in addition to ADC having other roles, Ricky Whittle had no role in S3 and spoiled his departure before his death scene, and Ontari hardly had any direction or screentime. It doesn't take a genius to predict this stuff.

The whole reason this rumour about Lexa started is because JRoth said "Lexa is not returning for season 4" at SDCC, that's it. People interpreted that to mean that her returning in season 5 is still an option. I'm not sure how much clearer he can make it. If he said "Lexa is never coming back" everyone would call him an insensitive jerk and he'd lose whatever Lexa worshipers he still has left. Not to mention I highly doubt the CW, ADC, or the showrunners of The 100 want to be associated with Lexa's image after the controversy it caused. I don't think they want to have her back and frankly I don't think her presence has a place in the show anymore either way.

And I'm pretty sure the Bellamy dying rumour was just started by Clexa shippers who don't want Bellarke to happen. He could die, that's always an option for most characters on this show, but all of the articles I've seen to speculate this were super clexa heavy and they had no real proof or substance.

reply

Ikr that's what I put an (?) in it, I doubt it too..but crazy stuff haa already been happening on other shows.

reply

And I'm pretty sure the Bellamy dying rumour was just started by Clexa shippers who don't want Bellarke to happen.

Agreed. Unless Bob himself wants to leave (which I suppose is possible with all the harassment he gets) I can't see them killing him and risking losing all the Bellarke shippers plus non-shippers like me who just like Bellamy/Bob. It also depends what kind of contract he's on. Ricky apparently signed up to Starz for six years for American Gods.

I also agree that despite all the cries of 'Bring back Lexa', everyone involved with the show including Alycia herself wouldn't want her back. It could only cause even more trouble. As you say, Jason was very clever in saying she wouldn't be back for season 4, leaving her fans with a shred of hope that she might be back in season 5, if there is one.

My theory is that there will be a season 5 and that will be the end of the series. If Alycia is available and wants to do it Lexa could appear for the last episode or two as part of either a flashback or Clarke (maybe on her deathbed!) thinking back over her life.

reply

I agree, the only thing I'm worried about with Bellamy is if the actor himself wants to leave because of all the harassment. It's possible but I think Bob is a smart guy, he's been taking breaks from twitter and some of the cons. None of us really know but in general it seems like the cast enjoys working together, so hopefully they focus on the work and don't let the outside mess impact them.

I really like this theory! I also think that S5 will be the last. I've heard a lot of speculation that Clarke and Bellamy (or either one of the two) will die in the finale which I'm really hoping won't happen. It does seem like something JRoth would do though.

I also think Alycia's appearance would depend on whether the character still has this negative image. It might just make more people upset and rehash the argument that the writers are baiting them. Back when this whole mess was happening, I remember reading something on a Clexa blog telling people not to even watch the 100 finale because Lexa's just in the Flame, she's still dead and it didn't count. So I don't think having her just be in a flashback would be good enough for people who actually care enough to want her back. They want her alive and in love with Clarke in the flame forever lol

reply

I ship Clexa. There is no way she is returning. Her body was burned. She is nothing but ashes. The only way I see her physically coming back is if super advanced aliens come down to earth and clone her using a strand of her hair from her brush.

reply

Who is harassing Bob and why?

reply

Most of the harassment comes from shippers who believes he's a threat to their ship and he's been receiving a lot of racist slurs calling him monkey, ape, rat, ugly, dirty looking, nappy hair, unwashed, unclean, smelly, white passing and he told them to please stop erase his heritage and stop with the racist slurs, but that only made them angrier so they started tone policing his emotional responses with "whiny Bob", "take several seats" and "stop whining, it's not that deep". This has been going on for a year now and he told some fans that he met at cons that he's not checking his notifications anymore.

Here's one example:

http://67.media.tumblr.com/f6b7c675474b1999146e25a539a98349/tumblr_inline_od7v4lg8Rz1tv0o0a_500.png

I have so many receipts you wouldn't believe, pretty much all of it from twitter (but also tumblr) and most of them tagged him so he would see it. Before all of this started he interacted with fans on twitter and he was very active but now he rarely tweets nor interact with them. It's a shame that the actors have to go through this when they're just doing their job.

And they tweet him calling him ableist, sexist, misogynist because he dare to talk about his character from his characters POV and it doesn't matter how many times he says that his character was wrong but as an actor he has to try and understand his mindset and his thoughts on Bellamy lines perfectly with canons but it doesn't seem to matter to these people. It's hard for him to say anything about his character because they twist everything he says into something it's not.

reply

Kinda wish I hadn't asked. Now I'm just pissed. I hate bullies. What they're doing is disgusting. Poor guy.

Edit: What ships is Bellamy a threat to anyway? He's never shown any romantic interest towards anyone.

Well, from the things I've seen, it's mostly Clarke/Lexa shippers (judging by profile and posts) that has singled Bob out for some reason and they took out all their frustration on him after what happened to Lexa, but even before that they treated him poorly because the monkey/ape/rat and ching chong racist slurs has been going on for longer.

I don't pay much attention to the shipper side of things but the only girl he had a romantic love relationship with was with Gina and they were together for 3 months before she was stabbed several times in the belly, bled out and then blown up in 3x03.

He's had sexual relations with girls, like Roma and that other girls that died in s1, and also had a one time hate-sex thing with Raven who basically slept with him to get back at Finn, but that's about it, I think.

This show really isn't about romance and it shows because when the writers decide to go for romance it's often weak and poorly written. At least what has been shown so far.

reply

I took a look at his twitter, and the abuse seems to have stopped. (Though I could be looking in the wrong places.) What he said at comic con (about not looking at his notifications) must have worked. I wish I could say it's safe for Bob to come back and be active on twitter for his fans again, but online racists are relentless. They'll be back. Won't they? It's nice to see fans showing him some love!

reply

I think the hiatus has calmed things down a little, it's not so bad now or people aren't tagging him as much. Hopefully it will stay that way but with the new season coming up and depending on what happens, they will most likely be back. He will probably be better off not coming back to twitter other than the occasional tweet and then leave for weeks again.

you phrase as if there was internal (on set) issues andthat they don't want to work with the actress anymore?

anyway i agree with you lexa won't comeback...

it's a world where anyone can die but only white straight characters can survive

reply

That's complete nonsense. Many straight white characters have died on the show and there are plenty of non-white and non-straight characters still alive.

reply

The Bellamy rumor was started by a Clexa shipper on twitter.
Lexa is not coming back. What good would that even do? Her character has done her part, she's dead, like REALLY dead.

The actress playing Alie is not in season 4 at all, as far as we know, so for Alie to come back, it would have to be in a different form than the one we've seen. But I really hope the Alie plot is really done.

And as for season five, I guess we'll have to wait and see if the show will get a season five. I hope so, but it's the CW, so you never know.

reply

😞 Like season 1. I prefer 16...but ok...

Bellamy is going to die in season 4, this wasn't confirmed by anyone but the predictions for Lincoln, Lexa, and that chick umm Roan's sister has proven to be true.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, NOT BELLAMY!!!!!! Please be wrong.

Lexa is coming back in season 5, they will research the technology that can bring back people from the dead, and Clarke will steal it to relive Lexa.

😐...*reads again*...😐....Lexa...coming...back season 5...😂 YES PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. 😭 That would be amazing. GO CLARKE GO. lol

Alie will come back in season 4b, because they're gonna try to see behind the doors of the Alie 1.0.

They will go to the sky again, to avoid the nuclear disaster that was teased in the little promo.

I have nothing against ALIE. I liked the CoL storyline. If she's back that'd be cool.

Back to the space station huh. Doable if Raven is super smart like the articles say.

These all sound fun. Except Bellamy dying. Season 4 should be good. And I really hope there's a season 5. And 6. And 7. 😁

reply

I hope so, I mean if TWD can go for seven seasons with same story every season then every show can lol :D

reply

twd will go past 7. it'll be the next greys anatomy. 13 seasons and still going strong.

This one seems to be true. CW has cut episodes on all of their shows.

Bellamy is going to die in season 4, this wasn't confirmed by anyone but the predictions for Lincoln, Lexa, and that chick umm Roan's sister has proven to be true.

This is likely not true. I don't think he will die but Jason did say something about not enough lifeboats and some of the characters will believe they don't deserve to live and Bellamy will probably give up his seat so someone else can live, but in the end, I doubt his people, including Clarke, will allow that. But I doubt he will die this season.

And also, Roan had a sister?

Lexa's death was heavily foreshadowed and she talked about her death for several episodes and unbiased fans saw it coming a mile away and we weren't surprised, nor shocked by it. Her death was speculated/discussed weeks before it actually happened but the shippers didn't want to listen so they shut down any discussions and warnings.

Lexa is coming back in season 5, they will research the technology that can bring back people from the dead, and Clarke will steal it to relive Lexa.

I don't see this happening. Her body was burnt to ash and bones, not sure how her body could ever be restored in a show that doesn't have the right tech for such things and never had that sort of tech? Seems more like fan fiction to me. She might come back in dialogue though.

Alie will come back in season 4b, because they're gonna try to see behind the doors of the Alie 1.0.

I don't think ALIE will come back but I do think they will use the flame by hacking into it and contact Becca, the creator, and possibly get information about the nuclear plants and those 4% that will be habitable.

They will go to the sky again, to avoid the nuclear disaster that was teased in the little promo.

This is possible if they can find another space shuttle ramp. But the question is, is there a livable Ark still in space orbit with enough oxygen for them to survive for hundreds of years? Where is Becca's old Ark?

reply

Would have preferred 16 but a positive is that more could be put into each episode.
Bellamy is going to die in season 4, this wasn't confirmed by anyone but the predictions for Lincoln, Lexa, and that chick umm Roan's sister has proven to be true.

While the 100 is known for its shock deaths each season, I cant see them killing off Bellamy if I'm perfectly honest. It would be more likely that they'd kill someone like Octavia , Jasper or Monty. As for the names you pointed out , Ricky Whittle(Lincoln) was having disagreements with J Roth , so it was no surprise that he got killed off, Alycia Debnam-Carey(Lexa) was a season regular on FTWD , seeing as how both shows had similar filming times and her being a young actress it was obviously too much for her to handle and I'm guessing she had to pick one.Sadly for the 100 fans I guess she chose FTWD as it has more of a future and has definitely helped in her career. As for Rhiannon Fish(Ontari) her death had to happen within the show I'm guessing for what is coming up in season 4. All the deaths could have been seen and easily predicted tbh.
Lexa is coming back in season 5, they will research the technology that can bring back people from the dead, and Clarke will steal it to relive Lexa.

Although a Lexa fan , please just no. I would go as far to say this would 100% never happen , but there's always that 1% it could happen. This creates loopholes within the show , and also is a poor attempt by the writers to try to please fans that were upset about Lexa's death. If Lexa can be brought back then that means everyone can pretty much be brought back , and that death serves no purpose. Hate to say it but Lexa is gone.
Alie will come back in season 4b, because they're gonna try to see behind the doors of the Alie 1.0.

Not very fond of the alie storyline, and I think it was done too early within the show and definitely could have waited a season. I mean if they do bring her back I wouldn't mind but we've been there done that. Would rather we see something original.
They will go to the sky again, to avoid the nuclear disaster that was teased in the little promo.

Not sure about this , but I can see this being the way that the show ends overall. The survivors decide to go up to the Sky again because of some reason , but yeah it would definitely take a while in the show if they wanted to go back up , seeing as the ark is gone where exactly would they go ? and things like that.

I'd take everything that you've heard with a pinch of salt to be honest. People may have just made the stuff up and in this case I'd say that this is true. And as for season 5 , it hasnt been confirmed I dont think. The season 4 premiere could be a flat out flop and the CW may choose to not renew the show. The only believable thing I'd say is on that list is the amount of episodes.

reply

Bellamy is going to die in season 4, this wasn't confirmed by anyone but the predictions for Lincoln, Lexa, and that chick umm Roan's sister has proven to be true.

Only way Bellamy is dying is if Bob wants out. I can't see Jason killing Bellamy off after he lost Lexa/Lexa fans and Lincoln/Lincoln fans. In fact, as long as the main cast want to stay, I wouldn't be surprised if there are no big deaths this coming season as a way to compensate for the backlash they got for their deaths the season before.

Lexa is coming back in season 5, they will research the technology that can bring back people from the dead, and Clarke will steal it to relive Lexa.

Some issues with this theory:

1. The main reason they had to kill Lexa/write her off is because Alycia is a series regular on another TV show, meaning that she can't be a series regular on two shows at once. So unless Jroth knows for a fact that Alycia is about to be killed off in s3 of ftwd thus freeing her up for s5 of The 100, there is no way this could happen.

2. "Clarke will steal it to relive Lexa" opens up too many plot holes. Why doesn't she also use this technology to revive Wells, her best friend since she was a baby? And while she is there, why doesn't she also revive Anya and Finn and Monroe? Why not revive every person who has died on the show? And what do they need for this revival to happen? (considering all that is left of Lexa is ashes).

3. The writers have confirmed that Clarke will get a new love interest one day. No one knows who it is or when it will happen, but they have confirmed multiple times that she will eventually MOVE ON from Lexa. Therefore, having her in s5 try and find ways to bring Lexa back from the dead seems to contradict this and would not show her moving on from Lexa in any way.

Alie will come back in season 4b, because they're gonna try to see behind the doors of the Alie 1.0.

Gosh, I hope not. Then again, I suppose there is nothing supporting or refuting this claim. The only thing that came to mind however was Jason mentioning that he likes to tell each season as it's own story/movie, so it seemed (at least, to me) that the ALIE stuff was left in s3. Perhaps not, though.

They will go to the sky again, to avoid the nuclear disaster that was teased in the little promo.

IF this happens, I don't see it happening until the series finale. That being said, at the end of s4 I could see people going into groups maybe and maybe one group will go back to the sky and s5 might follow that group as their own separate story arc.

I would guess that 90-95% of this is people spreading lies and rumours, either to scare people (killing Bellamy) or excite people (bringing Lexa back). The only thing that is confirmed is a 13 episode season rather than a 16 episode season.

reply

If there will be a season 5 with the expected drop in rates that season 4 will meet due to the LGBT still ongoing rage, then I suppose most of what you say may happen. As of season 4, I didn't think Alie was completely gone anyways and I saw many opinions state the same, as for Bellamy, its the 1st time I hear of this one hmm, I mean what for? Like sacrificing himself to save others maybe? Idk but he better not die lol. I ship Clexa but I also know by now that the writers won't go for Bellark if they wanted to they'd have long time ago so I'm not worried and I really did hate his actions in the beginning of s3 but he started redeeming himself eventually and I hope to see more of that.

The reason lexa left is because alycia debnam carey is committed to an entirely different show now. How could she com back.
