Pregnant?
I'm just wondering if anybody is going to get pregnant on this show? Bellamy was getting it on with all those girls in the beginning, Clarke/Finn, Finn/Raven, Raven/Wick.. I mean somebody is bound to procreate eventually, right?
shareBecause of birth control every woman got an implant on the Ark. Apparently even the younger ones, maybe at the age of 16. Most of the times they worked. Aurora was an example where it didn't.
Only in episode 3x01 Jackson mentioned patients who were waiting to get their implants removed, so I doubt we will see that many pregnant Sky People now, about a month later.
The only exception might be Octavia. After she was found she spent about a year in lock-up, but I don't know if she got an implant, because of lack of opportunity. With a bit of luck she could be 4 or 5 months in now. But I'm not sure if I want her to be pregnant...

I'm not sure if I want it either. It could be interesting for her storyline, it would force her to come back to Arkadia and maybe see her brother's perspective better being a caregiver. I also heard some theories that she could die during childbirth (i personally don't really think she's going to die) and Bellamy would have to take care of it, a reminder of her sister and a huge parallel to when Octavia was born. And a baby would symbolize hope, which seems to be a huge theme next season. So there are a lot of new directions there.
But a baby really complicates things on TV shows. Depending how they handle it, it could totally change the atmosphere and limit the possibilities of any characters taking care of the child. I want a main character to have a baby eventually, and I guess they could show a random in the background with a baby or giving birth for continuity reasons after that birth control implant line, but I hope it doesn't happen til the very end.
