The planet has been uninhabited for 100 years following a nuclear holocaust, and you think everything is so peachy that you go off into the forest yelling, jumping into rivers, and celebrating swinging on a vine. I would have been in total security, stealth mode after seeing the two headed deer.

Of course they went crazy as soon as they landed - anyone would. I've always thought though that Octavia shrieking 'we're back bitches' was a big mistake. I'm sure it put a lot of (older) people off watching the series.

They had been told that there was no one living on Earth - the only thing they knew they should fear was radiation, and since it didn't kill them, why shouldnt they celebrate bring back on Earth?
