Clearly your ignorant of facts Kass Morgan is the author of the books series she 32 years old abd the first book is about teens so yea going to be teens in the tv series. Kass Morgan holds a Master's at Oxford in 19th century literature.

Clearly a lot smarter then you appear to be anyways thanks for posting.

I was speaking about the show, not of the author or the books themselves. I knew this series was based on a book series, and actually, it was quite obvious that it was given how similar it was to all the other dystopian teen movies/books out there.

Did you watch past the pilot? The show gets really dark after a while.

I also don't really see your point about 'not talking about the author of the book being 13' lol. Jason Rothenberg is the executive producer and he's a middle aged man.

The 100 novel series is a young adult science fiction series by Kass Morgan. The first book in the series, The 100, was published on September 3, 2013, by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers.

The book series was written for young adults not adults who want it to not be about young adults but the books are about young people. So there is going to be young adults. may be you should watch the walking dead or some thing like that. Personally I think Jason Rothenberg is doing a great job and is keeping close enough to the book series.

Nothing!!!! but if you're going to come to a board for a post apocalyptic TV series depicting - acid clouds, underground mutants, tribes and call its viewers '13 year old girls' after previously praising and fangirling a generic musical with 12 year old girl obsessed stars like Ryan Gosling then it's probably going to come back at you.

Fair enough. Unfortunately, though, I think a lot of the people watching ARE 13-16 year old girls (obviously not the people on this board!) who don't understand the kind of show this is and can't accept that in a show where the main theme is survival, not everyone is going to survive. I can't believe some of the comments I read on other boards - not only are they constantly demanding that Lexa and Lincoln come back, but a lot of them are still convinced that Finn will return!

I actually think the violence is worse on this show than some non CW shows. Any time someone gets their wrist/forearm slashed its pretty bloody and graphic.

The writing is not bad, but not great they often have character repeat themselves or you can predict the next sentence.
