Gorgeous photography and a nice surprise
Never heard about this film beforehand, and was pleasantly surprised.
What struck me first, was the beautiful way the movie was shot, it just oozed quality, and is the reason i actually watched the whole film. I usually screen films first, and always ditch it, if it has that soap opera look, or handheld DV look, as i cant stand either, and i miss the old 35mm film days.
It was a big plus Michael Shannon and Joel Edgerton was in it, both are excellent.
The story is a bit confusing at first, but that is a plus in the end,as you keep scratching your head and wonder what the hell is going on.
In a time of only bad sequels and superhero pg13 crap, an original like this is very nice.
Highly Recommended
