Was that Hugh Jackman's voice?

When the Wolverine poster starts talking in the film, was that really Hugh Jackman's voice or another actor imitating Jackman's voice?

reply

I'd bet on an imitator.

How did you even see this movie? I've been looking everywhere. I want to watch it very badly. It has ratings everywhere, websites have rated the film and everything, how the hell can I not find it? There's not even a poster or trailer for it that I can find, yet everyone has seen it.

It's screened at several film festivals, most notably Sundance. There are still a handful of festivals it's heading to before its limited release in June.

It was really Hugh Jackman's voice: Peter McPartlin confirmed it in the Q&A after the Michigan Theater screening last night. (Followed by audience laughter -- no, it really was!)

There is no signature -- only Zuul.

Unless it was done in post, it was not

Funny how someone can say something with such certainty... and be wrong.

Yes it was -- per author & screenwriter Jesse Andrews -- at the Independent Film Festival Boston tonight during Q&A.

reply

Yes, it was. Hugh also promoted the movie on his twitter, and the director's next movie will star Hugh Jackman.

reply

Just saw it tonight, and there was a Q&A with the director. He confirmed Jackman's voice.
