This movie is false
I don't know about you, but I love a good tearjerker. Untamed Heart and Terms of Endearment are great movies. I even enjoyed The Fault of our Stars quite a bit. This movie needed to calm down and take some Ritalin. It has an identity crisis. It is like the filmmakers wanted to make a tearjerker that appeals to the teenagers, but also wanted to gain critical respect from film snobs, so they added a bunch of weird camera angles and strange plot points as a way to show that they are fresh and original filmmakers. If they got rid of half of that garbage, the film might've worked. It is a shame, because the simple premise sounded interesting.
