What was the meaning of the kid wearing the yarmulke withe the "P" on it??
also why was he wearing it forward and not over his skull's crown?

It was set in Pittsburgh and the P stands for the Pittsburgh Pirates as for the other thing... I think it was worn that way so it wouldn't fall off. I worked with a person that wore one and he used bobbie pens to keep it further back on his head...
