No not even close. I really like Attack on Titan but I'd rate Bebop, Lagoon, Baccanno and several others ahead of it.

It is amazing so far, but not good enough to be best, and I haven't even seen a huge amount. I have both of the Fullmetal Alchemist's above it, along with Death Note.

One thing I don't like about the show is that it has sooo much animation reuse. This is obviously because every other action requires a flashback, but that doesn't make it OK in my book.

They do a great job of ending with cliff hangers, I'll give them that.

Uh, no. Best Shonen ever? Maybe but considering the series isn't even done, I would hold off on the hype train a little while. At least until the season finale. I am enjoying it more than the first season of FMA: Brotherhood so far though, aside from the pacing.

But here's what's annoying. I also just finished Kids on a Slope and I am currently watching Monogatari Season 2 and those shows just blow Titan's dialogue / drama away. Attack on Titan has great action, but it's dramatic scenes are humorously over the top half the time. It doesn't know how to pace itself either.
