Major spoiler - read if only up to chapter 68 ruler of the walls

In case you didn't already know around chapter 40 or so; Historia is sharing the main protagonist role of the series with Eren.

In all honesty, I have loved her development and how discretely she slipped into that role. When she suited up for battle, and ignored Erwin's orders to stand down, and that she should be in the safest place possible as the future queen gained my upmost respect as has been for all leaders who LEAD the charge into battle.

All 4'9" of her, stands in front of the town after killing the biggest titan threat to ever oppose humanity, and says, "I am Historia Reiss... The true ruler of these walls".

Effin LOVE it! A true queen not to effed with!

Na. I'm sure we'll get the conclusion of the fight either next chapter or the one after as it'll mark the end of the volume.

But yeah, agreed about Historia. Love how she has grown as a character and I hope she survives and becomes a proper badass.
