Question for Manga readers:

I have already watched all of season one and couldn't wait to see what happens, so I downloaded the manga.

Here is my question: are the first season and the manga close enough so that I can just skip what season one covered and head on to where season two would start?

I don't feel like reading what I already saw in season one.

If so, where in the manga does season one end?

Season one covers 32.5 chapters in the manga. The anime follows the manga to almost near perfection, but there are some negligible differences. It's really up to you.
