Can you kill a titan from inside the throat?

I was just watching Thomas die again and I feel like he could have just sliced his swords through the back of the throat and if he slid down he would have sliced the nape. I feel like people just give up when they're caught. Does anybody who's read the manga or just have a better idea of what's possible know if that'd be possible to do?

As you said people give up when caught. Maybe it's possible but victims are so stunned to be even do something.

As pointed out, someone would be shocked by being swallowed. Because of that shock a victim probably would get injured falling in.

Because a rotting undead corpse is probably a better choice than most politicians
