Macfarlane seems to love writing romantic dialogue, he did it here, he also did it in The Orville, too. It detracts from those shows.

Disagree. I thought the McFarlane / Theron romance was sweet and funny and light on the schmaltz. Give me that over Notebook crap any day!

I've never liked romance in movies, to be honest. But it seems to be well-written.

I rate the movie as one of the unfunniest "comedies" I have ever seen. Seth McFarlane is better at voice acting than being in front of the camera. He is not an actor.
