I watched this - some time ago - and thought it was okay. Slightly above average.
I just then watched it a second time, and I was blown away. This movie is hilarious ...
Maybe I was depressed the first time I watched it.

It might just be that it's just so weird, maybe you have to wait until you watch it twice before you can even form an opinion.

The mood you're in makes all the difference in the world with a movie like this. I'm 10 minutes into it, and loving it, but I didn't think I could stand the humor before I started watching (after seeing the trailer)
I love the jokes about Silverman's 'job' (I don't know if it's funnier for me because I HAVE had several gf's that WERE hookers.)
I think this movie might be incredible if you watch it drunk with trusted friends who get your sense of humor.
