Anachronistic humour.

Is it only me or do others find that anachronistic humour only works moving forward in time? In this film the modern idiomatic humour transposed onto the Wild West setting fell completely flat. At least it did for me.

And for the record, I am a big Seth McFarlane fan - absolutely love American Dad, and Roger in particular.
