Did I miss something? What happened to the Clark's youngest daughter Hayley after the time jump? It seemed like there was only Jonie.

I was wondering the same thing.

Perhaps they just didn't want to pay to hire another actress just to replace her without a story line to tie her into.

I'm not denying it, but I didn't catch that.

But even if it was said, it was still a way to not have to pay another actress. But at least they mentioned her instead of ignoring her.

I think Joanie ate her in a fit of teenage rage. But seriously I was a horrible teenager and it was like my younger brother was invisible. My brother recently told me how he went away with my dad for 4 months (my dad went away on work) and I had no idea I thought he was in his room or in the bathroom. I honestly had no idea he was gone. I'm really close to my brother now, he's my best friend:)

This question gnawed at me all the second half of the season. Like those lame 80s family shows when children actors would just disappear from the cast when they had hit puberty. This show easily could have afforded another teen girl actor for just one episode. Lame!
