Beautiful movie. Way better than Interstellar.
Way better. WAY BETTER.
shareBoth movies deal with an obsessive, egocentric and annoying point: human survival, as if we are relavant to the cosmic context.
Hahaha, nope we're not. We're the trash can of the solar system.
The universe is only relevant because of us... we give it meaning, it only matters because it matters to us... otherwise, its all just stardust...
Self centred but correct ;)
We're just civilization X, Y or Z in the universe. Our value will be based upon what we create, not what we destroy.
shareIt's uncomparably worse than Interstellar and very soon be forgotten. Interstellar is a timeless classic. When Arrival will never see its event happening in real life, Interstellar will sometime become a meta-film, where humankind will see itself as "they" showed in it, the people of future, a much better ones than we are now.
Nolan, I love you forever!share
Interstellar is way better.
shareI think both films were beautiful. To me this one was more thought provoking and I'm sure I will like it even more on repeat viewings. I just finished watching it and my first feeling was "Whoa!" I love Interstellar though, ithe aching that the McConaughey feels for his family really gets to me.
shareI feel like it ended just as it was starting to get going, I wanted to see how human civilization would advance with it's new precognitive abilities
shareNo. Just no. :-)
sharelolz
shareLet's not make this a competition, alright? But in short, yes. Yes just yes! 😄
