Shouldn't Katie feel offended by the priest?
How could the priest call her "Little Mouse"?!
Definitely not pc and in fact quite insulting to a woman.

don't think he meant it to be insulting, just nicknamed her that becuz he initially thought it was a little mouse making the mess with the food

How could she be offended if she did not even know what he said? He was speaking Bulgarian at the time.
No, later he also called her "Little Mouse" when he spoke to her in English.
shareOh, I guess I missed that line.
shareIt's quit usual in european countries for a man to call "little mouse" to a woman or even to a child (e. g. Maeuschen in german), it's used as synonym of "sweet heart", thus it isn't offensive at all. Katie as american could it be felt offensive, but it didn't make any difference if comming from a priest or from someone else, she couldn't trust anybody anyways.
shareIn the US, people often say a girl is of the "mousy" type when she is small (short), slight in build and with dark hair (since a mouse is usually grayish or brown in color - definitely not "blonde"). Katie in the film definitely satisfied all these criteria (and as one poster pointed out that might also refer to her stealing). It might not be offensive as such, except that to certain people (e.g. some feminists), any remark on a woman that refers to her looks rather than her "talents" could be treated as degrading or at least not pc.
shareYou're a fking moron. What the hell does that have to do with her being a woman and how is it not PC? He said that because she was rummaging through his food and making a mess of the place.

I bet you love being offended.
shareI think she had a little more on her mind rather than a harmless term of endearment.
shareThat was Kronos. He's called people a lot worse.
