shareHonestly, WHO CARES?
I do.
I love watching major multinational corporations run by diversity hires lose their financial ass.
Well, to be honest, I will watch the movie, perhaps on opening day (19th) for the CRINGE factor alone. I mean, I've watched all the other movies for over 40 years, I may as well see how cheesy the Disney conclusion is. Afterwards, I will happily read all the negative reviews and the poor box office results and enjoy the dumpster fire that Disney have wrought upon themselves. It's gonna be a fun Christmas!
Right there with you. At my age, most of my family is now gone - all the drama around this has been a fun little distraction.
Let the diversity dumpster fire burn while I roast marshmallows.
:o)
Be prepared to be dissapointed, it will post good numbers, this will be good, cant wait for it
shareGo ahead, spend your money, buy 100 Rose Tico dolls, you can sell them on EBay in 20 years for $1 apiece!
:o)
Not me. I'm not contributing my money to this garbage and I really don't understand why this movie has a bevy of people who are all of the mentality of: "Disney ruined the sequel trilogy and this movie looks like utter shit!....But, yeah--I'll get a ticket to watch it". Why not just not watch it and not contribute money to a product you know Disney is bastardizing? Makes no sense to me, personally. I know many people who share my hatred of this Disney Star Wars and at least half of them are saying the same thing: "Yeah, but I guess I'll still watch it".
People can do what they want, of course, but I don't get the logic of knowingly throwing your money at something you know is terrible. Every ticket merely encourages this nonsense to continue.
I'm done paying for Disney Star Wars. Voting with our wallets is the only language they understand. I'll be watching Jumanji instead just like last time.
I am there with you, I don't get. Everyone I know is saying they think it will be bad and they have been disappointed by Disney era star wars but is still going to see this in theaters. Why, I ask, why keep giving them your money if you don't like the product any more? Not going to see it is an option, don't they know?
shareExactly. People need to put their money where their mouth is.
If people are going to keep paying for this crap when they KNOW it's crap and WANT Disney to STOP this crap then deciding to CONTRIBUTE to Disney financially isn't going to help matters.
I'm sick of this "I hate this shit! I just bought my ticket..." crap. It's been years of this now with several shitty franchises. People don't learn, which is why Hollywood does it again and again. I didn't pay for The Last Jedi as soon as I learned all the news about it. I actually had plans to watch it with my wife and we were planning on buying tickets for that Christmas. We cancelled those plans as soon as all those leaks about Luke, the final battle/etc came out. We only recently watched that film last year for free...and had zero regrets about not buying a ticket. See? What's so hard about that?
At the risk of making enemies (don't really care, to be honest), you're kind of forfeiting your right to complain if you're going to reward Disney with your money. They know it's shit but they're going to give them their money anyway...and then complain about it some more after watching it. Well, guess what? You just helped Disney, guys, so the joke's on you and, by extension, those of us fans who chose not to pay to see it because you guys are part of the contribution to this film getting its $1 billion.
As a fan, I'm growing sick and tired of this "Disney destroyed Star Wars...but, yeah--I just bought my ticket" mentality.
It is frustrating because it just means that they will never stop making the product nearly everyone hates. Star Wars is like Mcdonalds now, crappy food no really like and everyone knows is terrible for you but because it is popular cheap and convenient they still make billions of dollars per year. Star wars is basically on the same quality level of a big mac. Which is tragic in itself but the fact people keep going is kind of frustrating and disappointing.
sharePeople need their lies, bread, and circus. Only very few can survive outside the matrix.
shareBut anyway we shouldn't get too worked up over it, people will do what they do. All we can do is keep stating our opinion and point out it if silly of them to keep buying the tickets if they don't like the films very much. and hope they will come around eventually.
shareFan , haha your not a fan
shareDteam6, WHO said anything about PAYING to see TROS?? I'm going to the cinema to watch it FOR FREE.
I have an "Unlimited" card from Cineworld in the UK, meaning I pay a fixed amount every month to see as many movies as I like, and there is no record of what movies I saw, AND I can also bring in my own snacks and drinks.
So you see, Disney will have no proof that the money came from me :)
Great. I must admit that I was disappointed when I thought you of all people was going to pay for it, LOL!
That's the way. That and paying for Jumanji and walking into Star Wars. :)
For me, though, I'll be paying for Jumanji...and watching Jumanji. This crappy movie only deserves a small screen viewing from me.
Never in my life thought I'd choose a Jumanji sequel over "the last Skywalker Star Wars movie". My, how fast things can change over time.
That’s because your a butthurt douche bag , if your like this Star Wars ain’t for you kid , enjoy jumanji though , I’ll be there enjoying what looks to be a great Star Wars movie
shareJumanji sucked not half as good as part 2 same jokes nothing new. I would rather watch Jar Jar for an hour that Jumanji

Lots of people, and you considering the number of posts you make on yhe board, but if you dont like it, go find someone to talk to on the IT 2 board if you can , bye bye
shareThis actually looks pretty dam epic, i even think the haters will be surprised by this although they will never admit to it
shareLooks like epic shit, since it proves all the leaks were true.
shareEh, why do you think it looks shit ? The visuals are fantastic, what leaks are you referring to, theres that many
shareHe means that he's been told that the film insults his delicate political sensibilities, and as a delicate flower he can't separate art from artist and enjoy something that others have told him to dislike.
shareStick a delicate flower up your butt, maybe it will make you smell the Disney's crap wrapped up in gold tinfoil and posing as jewelry.
shareThe emperor alone coming back just takes a complete dump all over Luke and Anakin.
"Star Wars, Brought to you by DisneyTM" is utter trash, and not canon.
