I think we will get the title and teaser trailer in 2019.
title announcement: early or mid or late January.
teaser trailer: super bowl or captain marvel.

Since it's been done for like two months...I would have thought it would have been a good Christmas day premier. Seems like Disney is losing faith in thier most expensive property 👎 as the solo super bowl trailer was ill recieved...I doubt waiting is a good idea...but perhaps they are concerned that the poor reception of set leaks will reinforce the notion that star wars is truly a franchise lost at sea. Or maybe they feel this flick will sell itself...they have been exuding an awful lot of confidence lately👍well...besides all those nasty "reset" rumors😉
My big question surrounding the trailers release is...how will it be received?will it break records like avengers:endgame? Will fans shut down YouTube with praise and joyful expectation? Will a national holiday be declared for JJ and his saving of the beloved Galaxy far far away? Only time will tell!👍

The feeling amongst fan sites is that they want to focus on marvel properties. That and fan fatigue needs to be taken into consideration. This topic has had Mike Zeroh on edge for weeks...check him out👍
shareI think they will drop the trailer during the Super Bowl and will generally go nuts trying to market it after that. A lot of jobs are on the line.
I doubt it will help much. I'm predicting a worldwide gross of $700-800 million. The low end means the second straight SW movie to lose money; the high end gives it a slim profit.
I heard they are done making the teaser trailer. I hope they drop the teaser trailer during the Super Bowl.
shareAgreed, such is the fall out from the last Jedi, I can't see people rushing to see this , 800 million I predict, if the trailers are spectacular, 1 billion and a big opening , if the reviews are really really good including audience scores , could climb to 1.3 billion , just can't see it though .
