First time in my life that I have no speculation nor desire to speculate the events to be covered in an upcoming Star Wars flick...and it sucks!
shareyep me too , TLJ killed it for me, i mean i could second guess, Rey slays Kylo Renn, she becomes Grand Master Jedi , starts new Jedi acadamy , everyone is happy , the end.
shareKylo Ren being the bad guy of Episode IX gives me the laughs and is not feasible, so hopefully JJ is able to ret-con Rian's work early in the film, bring back and explain Snokes, explain away Leia's death, and give us at least a movie better than what we got previously.

I was rewatching the original trilogy, listening to the music and radio dramas, reading SW magazines and books.
shareMy post did mention an "upcoming star wars flick"...nothing was in production nor was there any significant rumors in the pipeline of an upcoming film. Also...in 1983 I was seeing Jedi...duh!
shareThe problem is there's nowhere to go. The writing in The Last Jedi was so bad, the story is effectively dead.
The fans left furious by TLJ won't be queuing up for it either. Their trust will have to be re-earned.
God help us if Solo sucks as well.
