Can JJ right the ship?

No doubt it'll contain a few neato twists:

- Yes, there will be another Death Star. Expect Starkiller II to be in the 3/4 construction phase
- Rey will turn out to be the grand daughter of Emperor Palpatine.
- Kylo will actually turn out to be Snoke's son
- Snoke will indeed be Darth Plagueis the Wise, and will be resurrected in IX as he was after Palpatine killed him.
- Thrawn will return after spending the last 30-40 years in the Unknown Regions following the Empire's collapse.
- Luke will mentor Rey throughout the movie
- Luke will have a discussion with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen in the first ever Force-only sequence.
- A digitally created Ser Alec Guinness will represent Obi-Wan, at least at first.
- Yoda will return and have dialog with his grand daughter, Maz Kanata.
- Supremacy II
- Supremacy II will plough into the Starkiller II before the end of the film
- And much, much more!

hard to imagine it can be worse than The Last Jedi. No more legacy to shit on.

Yep, the director which never ever ended a story arc of a series at all. should do what? Find a decent ending to a toxic franchise ;) ?

I've been thinking about how JJ can salvage his trilogy after the huge plot & character suicide in TLJ.
My ideas :
- Episode 9 takes place a few years later with Leia gone.
- Rey is still a super force user but Luke ghost always reminds her just like him long ago she's NO Jedi yet.
- Bring back the TFA idea of Dark force ghosts.
- We'll see an Outer Rim world.
- Supreme Leader Kylo Ren is a more developed character now he's closer to what Vader was.
- Wiser more mature Poe, he learned greatly from his mistakes.
- NO ROSE
- I can't really think what they'll do to Finn but his friendship with Rey needs to shine in this one.
- Knights Of Ren, the only thing mentioned that didn't show up yet.

Whether it's good or bad, the fanboys will find a reason to hate it and spend years complaining about it!
