There is a theory that Rey is the Jedi Kwisatz Haderach

Kwisatz Haderach - From Frank Herbert's novel Dune. The Kwisatz Haderach was the end result of the Bene Gesserit's selective breeding program to produce a messiah with greatly enhanced powers. Alia Atreides was the daughter of Duke Leto Atreidis and his wife Lady Jessica a Bene Gesserit witch. Jessica took the powerful psychoactive drug melange while she was pregnant with Alia causing her to be "pre-born" with the personalities of countless ancestors.

This may have been the meaning of the experience Rey had in the cave of the Dark Side when she saw copies of herself stretching back and forward seemingly without end. Also Rey remembered being in the Shrine of the Jedi on Luke's island before and she seemed to have almost fully developed and extraordinarily powerful Jedi capabilities.

Is Rey the Jedi Kwisatz Haderach ?
