why is Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi not playing on any movies channels on TV?

I just notice this. the movie been out for a year and no movies channels is playing this, I wonder why. I know the other star wars movies are played on movies channels but not TLJ, R1 and SOLO.

can anyone explained this?

reply

It's probably too soon. Movies aren't played on those channels (TNT, Freeform, Syfy, etc) unless they've been out a few years. It's only recently that The Force Awakens has shown.

reply

yeah, you're probably right. or because TLJ is still new.

reply

Because it sucks.

reply

to you: yes. but to me: no it doesn't.

reply

Fair enough.

reply

to most: yes.

to shills and reverse trolls?: not yet.

reply

It went to Netflix...and no one cared. It's not a valuable property...but has to have an inflated price tag. Also...disneys streaming service will not be showing the OT or PT or TFAuntil into the 2020s...so they are pretty thin on motion picture star wars content. All of this contributes...but mostly it sucked and few have any interest in it๐Ÿ‘

reply

I saw it on Netflix. I have the OT & PT & TFA on blue-ray so I don't need to watch star wars movie on the Disney's streaming service.

reply

Right...but you can see how NOT having them would hurt the streaming service...no?

reply

Except it is. I watched it on Sky Movies two days ago.

Here's another question? How come The Last Jedi was the best selling Blu Ray release of last year?

reply

to answer your question: because the Last Jedi is the best star wars movie ever!!

reply

Alright. I guess I just don't like Star Wars then.
