Swear words have always been present in Star Wars since the very first movie in the franchise.

The God speed part surprised me a little, I did feel like it was a little out of place. But it didn't bother me that much, I actually thought it was kind of cool. I've always thought that the Force was supposed to represent God, or faith in God, or something like that.

In the very first movie, A New Hope, I'm pretty sure they go into a bar, which I'm pretty sure would have champagne or some alcoholic beverage.

Wow, I sound like a Star Wars nerd. Maybe I'm becoming one, Idk

I don't recall any swear words such as bastard in any star wars film , and no , there was no champagne or similar products being sold in the cantina in ANH.

I thought you had meant just any swear word in general, because Han Solo had said the D and H word a few times in the trilogy. But I mean, swear words are swear words, they are bad, but I guess you could say that particular swear word is worse than the others.

If you look at the parents guide for A New Hope on IMDb, you will see under Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking, "There is a scene early on in the film set at a bar. Numerous characters are drinking unidentified beverages, presumed to be alcoholic. One character in the scene is seen smoking a hookah, and another appears to be smoking a cigarette on a holder." That's what it says.

God in Godspeed refers to a specific earthly god and should definitely have been avoided.
The force have very little to do with god or faith, it's just a star wars term for magic.

I'm also fine with sparkling beverages, as long as they don't specifically call it champagne.
