Its official: Star Wars Last Jedi is the worst Star Wars movie ever! :(

Not only did it lose 44% of its income from opening friday to next friday domestic (like no other Star Wars movie before).

Not only did it it lost its highest movie income place after only 17 (!) days to the movie masterpiece Jumanji ;) .

But now it even got worse ratings then Ewoks:Battle For Endor at rottentomatoes (Star Wars Last Jedi: 50%-Ewok:Battle For Endor 51%.

So when will Disney going to fire Johnson? He has done the, by far, worst desaster possible with the Star Wars franchise.

reply

hmmm...are those rottentomatoes scores from critics or angry nerds posting in impotent rage?

reply

I would guess dissatisfied customers voicing complaint...but I guess that could involve some nerd rage??? Honestly...even impotent nerd rage is kind of hilarious to hear out loud...like hillbilly genius or compassionate republicans...LOl

reply

no...."IMPORTANT nerd rage" would be the oxymoron you're looking for. "Impotent nerd rage" is, at best, a redundancy.

reply

[deleted]

You chose it...not me...I just thought it was funny...nerd rageπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

reply

I wish nerd rage was funny, but after seeing imdb and their message boards....it's all too real

reply

What??? You got a time machine? Let me know what's going on at stileproject and jumptheshark...I miss those sites too!

reply

If I had a time machine, I'd be doing more important things

reply

How did you visit the IMDb forums and discuss TLJ then? That site has been gone!

reply

Um....you realize nerd rage is not exclusive to The Last Jedi, don't you? I mean....it's not like you invented misguided self-delusion.

reply

Just 165,023 angry nerds. Strangely no other film got that much angry nerds (which even have a way larger fan base). Surely some kind of accident.

Or its way more expensive to buy or threaten 165,023 movie viewers then just a few critics (which depend on early access to Disney productions).

reply

I don't have the numbers but I'm willing to bet Batman V Superman got about that many throwing false support to THAT movie....

reply

Even that horrible movie got 63% support at rottentomatoes. So whats the point?

reply

That users who post reviews on rotten tomatoes need to get a life and people who base their opinions on THOSE people need a gas oven with a broken pilot light?

reply

Yep, 160,000 soul- and lifeless people. But the few that gave that "movie" 90% are the premium example of this species. What a perfect point you made :) .

reply

In what reality does that in any way resemble "official"?

reply

Its just the largest and most famous movie viewer web site. And til now nobody outside of greedy hollywood movie companies had any problems with it. Seems like you are one of the guys from such a company.

reply

yeah, i also make up my mind because of box office and other people's opinions exclusively. ;)

reply

If other people say it sucks when I can read that they like other Star Wars then I take their opinions seriously and avoid wasting time on crap. Your time apparently is worth less.

reply

yeah, making up your own mind is totally overrated. it's important though to brag about one's own ignorance, otherwise it's wasted. bless your heart.

reply

So you make up your mind without any external influence. I see your point here!

reply

"So you make up your mind without any external influence."

yes. the fact that such a behaviour even slightly renders you surprised, does not say much positive about you.

" I see your point here!"

and by "see" i guess you mean from the outside in, right?

reply

When im going to make decisions about something I get as much external information as possible to be sure to make a good decision. And Im always glad if someone appears to be an expert at that topic (cause that often saes times at the decision). But ..... thats only me :) .

reply

yeeeah, when it comes to a film, it is important to NOT... i repeat ...NOT watch the film first and form one's own opinion. it is crucial to get all the other opinions before, to make sure that one does not accidently chose the wrong opinion, while watching.

"And Im always glad if someone appears to be an expert at that topic "

what topic might that be? teenage angst? peer pressure?

"cause that often saes times at the decision"

i guess you had some kind of sentence in mind, when you wrote it. wanna try again?

"But ..... thats only me :)"

are you sure you don't want to ask your friends first, to make sure that it's the right statement? maybe a couple of blogs? some fellow beliebers, maybe?

reply

Your thoughts are amazing. With your point of view you surely have to view each and every movie on this planet. Cause otherwise you wont get enough facts to decide which you like to ...... view at all.

Perhaps you start with "The Room"? Ripped apart by anyone, but that shouldnt influence you in any way ;) .

reply

"Your thoughts are amazing."

for you as a stranger to thoughts, most likely.

"With your point of view you surely have to view each and every movie on this planet. "

how so?

"Cause otherwise you wont get enough facts to decide which you like to ...... view at all."

yeah, the plot description is never enough to decide, it is other people's opinion that matters. otherwise how would i know what to like and what not? will my class mates agree? will the girls like me less?

"Perhaps you start with "The Room"? Ripped apart by anyone, but that shouldnt influence you in any way ;)"

so, then name a movie, that is not ripped apart by anyone? or did you mean to write "everyone"? maybe "words" simply aren't your thing.

reply

PS: those questions are also still open

"And Im always glad if someone appears to be an expert at that topic "

what topic might that be? teenage angst? peer pressure?

"cause that often saes times at the decision"

i guess you had some kind of sentence in mind, when you wrote it. wanna try again?

reply

I described the flaw in your thinking. And the topic are indeed the given movie. And yes, I make as much typos as you ("fellow beliebers") :) .

reply

Rewatch the Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi and say again that the Last Jedi is the worst. Nothing is worse than Ewoks and Jar Jar.

reply

Talking about Ewoks and forgetting Porgs? And Yar Yar was horrible, but at least the movie had a story.

reply

Porgs didn't wipe out a legion of the empire's finest troops using arrows, spears, rocks and logs. And the story of Phantom Menace, where we learn Darth Vader came about through immaculate conception!

reply

Boo hoo.....😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭......get over yourself FANNERD it had grossed a billion dollars.....BY FAR A FAILURE....you are the failure to post such a stupid thread.......AHHHHH HAHAHAHAπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

reply

A billion? Not even close. And most of the money are from prepaid movie tickets. So, im sorry to tell, but your little resistance will die soon :) .

reply

Just another thing that proves Rotten Tomatoes is a joke. If there were this kind of audience voting on the site back in 1999, Phantom Menace's number would be a lot lower too. This is a good movie, not great, but good.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see and if you have any thoughts or criticisms, i'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/nerCnafPUm8
