Lucus should have finished the Skywalker story then sold To Disney

Mapped out the final trilogy then co write them like TESB & ROTJ. Get others to direct.

Fans unfairly slammed Lucas for years and now many of the same idiots want him back. Lucas is probably laughing at all these fools.

George is a great idea man and producer. He’s just not a good writer or director. If Disney used his vision but had Kashden to write and Johnson to direct, it would have been beautiful.

Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy books were a very good continuation of the OT for people who dislike the new sequels just read those and forget the whole Disney Star Wars era.
