shareNot really. We stiill don't know why Rey has the ability to engage with the Force, and very much in line with the "initially lost person of humble life experience" characters of Goerge Lucas she has some kind of purpose that is a higher calling.
In the sense that Rey is not apparently linked to the Skywalkers, yes that does seem to be a break from the patterns of the past and a chance to look freshly at Star Wars.
