Why is everyone in the movie acting like bunch of idiots?

Luke shocked at Yoda zapping the hut or whatever. Wasn't that what Luke wanted to do in the first place anyway?

Rose and Finn looking for the wrong splicer hacker. The gambler in tuxedo was a decoy the whole time or whatever.

Too much humor on the Achoo planet involving the weird alien nuns and Rey

Hux being humiliated etc

The whole Poe mutiny thing going on.

Because Rian Johnson had zero experience with big-budget blockbusters, and his ideas aren't so good anyway. Looper was an absolute mess. Beyond that he did Brick, and The Brothers Bloom... I'm not sure if he has any other movies.

At least he handled the technical aspects well, although the editing does leave a lot to be desired, and his eye for art direction is a bit uneven.
