A much improved iteration of this next generation Rebels storyline

I loved all the Luke bits and felt that tonally Rey was credible. I also liked how Kylo was represented. Snoke was suitably menacing as he should be as a representative of the Dark Side.

I enjoyed the humour in the film but felt it was sometimes awkwardly wedged into it, like they were attempting a parody of the characters to seem less earnest. The cute critters from the island were fun and all the droid characters were charming.

There were some problems with rushed dialogue which made it hard to fellow developments in the plot.

Assuming the writing and production can support a totally new generation caste in the next film I'm very hopeful that Star Wars is going well.
