That trailer is the first one in a very long time to give me chills. It's one of those trailers where I already know I'll love the film. Can't wait to see this.
shareI have to agree! I was going to post something very similar, and I have never posted on any thread here. Even though Kristen Stewart is in it (her acting is far below par), I cannot wait to see this! I love that they're using new talent for the lead, I feel that we will really feel it more, than using a well known face, if that makes sense.
shareI agree about new casting. The actor has real presence in the trailer. I actually think Kristen Stewart can be quite great and a couple of times has achieved excellence in films. I've also seen some very bad acting from her in films. I think she's the type of actress who greatly relies on a proper director. I'm not worried about her though. Ang Lee has pulled some great performances from lesser actors before.
shareActually, she's great when the role suits her. Stoic is her strong suit, so I think you might be pleasantly surprised by her performance in this film.
shareYeah I tend to agree cashusk. It's versatility that she's lacking, but when the role suits her she can really do a great job. I've been moved by her on film more than a few times.
