I love Steve but man, he was miscast here. He was just awful, the worst performance of his career. Terrible.

The close up of the actors faces as they speak into the camera doesn't help a performance like this either.

It wasn't a particularly good performance but I have seen worse from Martin. Although he is undoubtedly a good actor, he rarely seems comfortable in completely 'straight' (non comedic) roles. At least his role in this was relatively small.
