More holes than lady Gaga's underwear. Totally ridiculous story line, how many times did the limping guy have his leg broke and reset - only to get up and hobble about again in no time? How did he climb the hill to the cave? How did kurt Russel manage to handle the rifle near the end considering his left arm was shot through? How long can someone survive after being shot in the chest with a rifle at point blank range ? Etc etc etc.....what a waste of an evening.

shot in the gut or lower lungs as indicated by the wheezing tone in his speech after. chest is higher, critical if it's the heart. liver, lungs, equals slower death.
The injuries in this movie were portrayed like real injuries. one shot doesn't kill you or take you down unless it's through the head, and then it depends on where it hit. A gut shot will slow you, but not instantaneously kill you.
Shot to his left arm, but not shot through as in destroyed. the bullet went through cleanly. his right arm was the one he used to take the guy down.

You mean the injuries to the good guys were realistic. The cannibals were inexplicably getting one shot killed instantly by the gimp.

I agree 100%, this was one of the WORST films I have sat through, all that walking and talking, not even good dialogue. I don't mind slow pace but this was so tedious and just utterly annoying of repetitive scenes of dumb conversations and then gruesome scene of cutting a man in half which was just more for shock value to make up for all the talking and I just didn't what the hell "Richard Jenkins" was doing in this film?. I thought the "The Hateful 8" was bad but this movie topped it, I can't believe "Kurt Russel" would do a movie this dumb but I guess these actors get desperate when they get older.
