Thoroughly enjoyed this film
I went to see it today and was riveted throughout. Wonderful performances by Timothy Spall and a great supporting cast. Particular mention to Paul Jesson as Turner's dada and Marion Bailey as Mrs Booth, plus Dorothy Atkinson as the housekeeper. I found Turner a fully-rounded, flawed man who was both funny and sometimes monstrous and yet I always saw the artist and the man in Spall's humanely sympathic portrayal. What a superb actor he is.
