I like artists' biopics but this was boring as #$%

Just Spall and the others mumbling, shuffling from room to room, maybe an actual Turner pops up but who cares, really. Give me a Pollack or Surviving Picasso, some actors with caffeine in their performances. I guess if I want to see a great Spall performance I'll go with Timothy's son Rafe - dynamite actor, incredible in a revival of Pinter's Betrayal in 2013.

I think it could've been a little bit slower, and who said it had to be loud and fast? If you really want to know what boring means go watch Satantango by Bela Tarr, but even so it was absolutely worth it.

I rather liked the slow pace. I didn't find it boring at all. I found Turner's character interesting, he was a mumbler and was a man of few words, that's true but I appreciate that it was capturing what his life was like and what kind of person he was. I like historical dramas like this anyway. They seem to capture the essence of what life was like during 19th century England.
I look at everything. I enjoy the visuals as well the story being told, the sets, the clothing, every scene, the interesting characters and then of course the beautiful art and scenery. I liked the music too.
