Gay Black Male Performers + their masculinity
I'm disappointed in how they portrayed Little Richard as, frankly, a little biotch. It's as if the fact that he was gay was all they cared about. Sure, he was flamboyant in his day but he was still a man. I don't know about too many gay Black male performers of the past but the ones that I do know of (Richard, esp. Billy Preston) weren't flaming so hard that you would instantly assume that they were or even think it. Maybe it's just me.
Jenny: Why are you so good to me?
Forrest: You're my girl!
