Should of been in chronological order

This movie was all over the place very confusing to watch surely it would of been better in chronological order

Yea, I agree. I know they was trying to be creative but it was too much I started to get annoyed. It made the scenes choppy. Ex., the scene with his mom surprising him backstage, then cuts to other scenes, and we don't see those two until the end and it's like, Now, I don't give a *beep* because I forgot all about that scene. It does that throughout the whole film.

I agree. It's a shame because Brown's life was already complicated and messy. No need to be "creative" with the structure.

reply

Yes, it lost my attention early with the directing/editing.

I don't agree, haven't you ever had something happen to you and it brings you back to different times you learned something in your life.... I took it as that. The way this film was produced kept the energy alive!!

reply

I can't take anyone seriously that says "should of".

Good to see at least one person here understands the language.

It would have made this a better film, but I would probably still be disappointed because this is a bland portrayal of a fascinating subject.

His childhood keeps returning into adulthood,(literally when his Mom comes to see him) it's what gave him strength and agony. To me it made sense, although painful and poignant to watch.
