Doug Judy and Jake are better friends then Jake and Charles

I would love for Judy to be normal character on the show. I really like their relationship so much better than Jake and Charles. Charles crazy devotion to Jake is not healthy for anyone much less someone with a family. I know it is a part of the joke.. but for me it wore thin a while ago.

I felt the same about the guy who plays coach on new girl last season. Jake has better chemistry and is funnier with him and doug than with boyle

The friendship between Jake and Charles went a very unnatural way. When I first watched the show, it didn't even occur to me that they could be friends.
Doug Judy is hilarious, and is on the same page as Jake... Which I guess is the point, that he has more fun with the criminal haha

I didn't like Doug Judy the firs season or 2, but now I love him and would love him to be in more than one episode a year about.

Doug Judy is a jewel on this show and I look forward to his appearance each year (Craig Robinson was great on The Office). He definitely swooped in and saved this stale fiasco of a season. I think he should be a recurring character. He wouldn't be exhausting in small doses.
